The Kappa Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu was founded at Cornell University on January 27, 1912. Since its inception, this chapter has produced many notable scholars and innovators in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including Dr. Irwin M. Jacobs, a co-founder of QUALCOMM.

Welcome!

Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is a national honor society dedicated to Electrical and Computer Engineering. Our goal is both to improve the scholastic ability of ECE students and to reward those who have excelled in their studies. We organize social events, offer an extensive tutoring program and try to bridge students to a large and prestigious ECE network.
